The EU temporarily does not levy a temporary countervailing duty on stainless steel hot-rolled sheet from China
The European Union decided on the 18th not to impose temporary countervailing duties on stainless steel hot-rolled steel sheets from China and Indonesia (tax rates ranging from 6% to 18.9%), and continued to conduct countervailing investigations. This interim measure was originally scheduled to be implemented in early July of this year, but the European Union now plans to implement the final measure by early November.
The HS codes of products related to subsidies are 7219 11, 7219 12, 7219 13, 7219 14, 7219 22, 7219 23, 7219 24, 7220 11 and 7220 12.

On April 8, 2020, the European Commission issued an announcement to make an affirmative preliminary determination of anti-dumping on hot-rolled stainless steel coils originating in China, Taiwan, and Indonesia, and decided to levy the enterprises involved in the case from the day after this announcement was published in the official gazette. A 6-month temporary anti-dumping tax is levied at a rate ranging from 6% to 18.9%.
The customs codes of the products involved are 721911, 721912, 721913, 721914, 721922, 721923, 721924, 722011 and 722012. The investigation period of dumping and damage in this case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. The damage analysis period is from January 1, 2016 to the end of the dumping and damage investigation period.
