Russia Nickel production increased to 60K Tons

According to Moscow on August 20th, Norilsk Nickel, the world's largest metal producer, has expanded its nickel gap forecast for 2019 from 50,000 tons to 60,000 tons, Norilsk Nickel said. If Indonesia plans to resume import bans by 2020, it will put about 10% of global production at risk.

Norilsk Nickel's net profit jumped 81% in the first half of the year to US$3 billion. Its EBITDA was US$3.7 billion in the first half of the year, up 21% year-on-year, while revenue increased during the same period. 8% to $6.3 billion.

In 2018, Norilsk Nickel's comprehensive nickel production increased by 1% year-on-year to 219,000 tons, and the 2019 nickel production index was 22-22.5 million tons.
